2010 is One Year to Remember For the Phillies

There are a few fans that saw the Phillies not repeating their success that they have had over the past few years. Then the rest of the Phillies faithful know that the team is on fire and will be making a respectful showing in the coming months. These fans know that the team is lined up to send the rest of the division searching for answers.
One reason for this is due to the pitching power that Roy Halliday has brought to the Phillies bullpen. It was the biggest question of the year, who the pitching phenom would sign with when the dust settled. The answer was none other than the Phillies. This gave the bullpen which was a little lacking in power, a much needed shot in the arm. In addition to the pitching abilities that Halliday provided, there is a strong supporting cast that is set to send the team into the next level with their game play. These players are destined to support the starter pitcher and allow him to shut the teams down in regards to out of this world playing.
There is finally a pitching rotation that is in place that can provide a strong power at the plate. After a few years of the team not having a strong batting rotation, the Phillies are finally in a position that they can send the ball out of the park each and every time he takes to the plate. Regardless of the outcome when they head to the plate, there are several players that will give the team a strong presence when they are at the plate. This will be the second part of the Phillies one two punch, the more that the opposing pitchers try to stop the batting order, the less luck that they will have.
The Phillies outfield will also be an area that the team will need to make sure that they keep in a well-oiled machine setting, the more that the team pushes in the outfield, then the more that the team is looking to make the big plays. These plays will be the key in making sure that the team has continued success in the coming months. The first half of the season has been one to remember, and there is reason to believe that the second part of the season will be as great as the first.
In the end, there will be a lot of elements that will need to make sure that they are in place, in order to have the best success that they will have in a long time. There is little doubt that the team will be a repeat league champion. There are even those that have hopes that the team will be in the World Series this year again, this hopefully will be the year that they are able to get revenge on the Yankees for last season's World Series loss. For the rest of the fans, there will be a lot of doubt that Roy Halliday will be their savior.
